telephone numbers to and within the following countries : (Mobile
calls can only be made to USA, Canada, Hong Kong & Singapore)
Calls that charge special, extra user fees are currently not

Once I load the Way2Talk Dialer, how do I place a call ? |

Once the Dialer has loaded, please ensure that you have sufficient balance in your Way2Talk account to start making the call. This is available in the Status window on the Way2Talk Dialer.
To Dial a number
First need to Choose the Country you are calling using the Drop down menu (on the top left part of the screen) and then enter the rest of the number (Area Code + Local Number) using the On-Screen Key Pad or through the key board and then Click on the Dial button.
For example to call 001-916-985-5832 in the USA, you need to Choose USA - [+1] in the country code menu and dial : 9169855832.
Choose Country Code and Dial City code (0 omitted)+Local number
The status bar would show the progress of your call example :
Calling ...
Connecting ...
Ringing ...
Talking ...
You can start talking once you see the Call Established status
Please note that you might not hear any Ringing tone when the status bar shows “Ringing”

Way2Talk's calling services will
work on most PCs -- provided the PC is less than three years old and
uses all of the following:

Pentium class processor (600 Mhz &
above) with Multimedia capability (MMX)
- 64 MB DRAM recommended
- 128 bit Full Duplex Sound card
- Speakers & Microphone (or Headset)
- Minimum 56 Kbps Dial-up Modem connection
- Microsoft Windows Operating System (Win 95
/ 98 / ME / NT / 2K / XP)
- Full duplex Sound Card

Can I use Way2Talk on other computers

Yes. As long as the computer you are working on has access to the Internet and meets the following minimum system requirements, you will be able to access Way2Talk 's calling service from any computer in the world using your ID and password.

How does Way2Talk work ? |
| |
Calls
originating from your PC are routed over the Internet directly into
the global telephone network using Way2Talk's proprietary network
infrastructure. When you place a traditional long distance phone
call, say from Mumbai to New York, the local phone company charges
you for both the use of your phone and the use of the phone at the
other end. When you place that same call from your PC using
Way2Talk, your call bypasses the local telephone network and is
transmitted over the Internet straight into the New York telephone
network.

Troubleshooting |

Way2Talk dialer does not launch
If the Way2Talk Dialer does not launch when you try & start it through the Start Menu or the Desktop shortcut, there could have been a problem with the installation process. Please uninstall the Way2Talk dialer & re-install it again
I get an error message that says "Login failed" when I try to login
You would get a Login failed error message if you had entered an invalid Account ID or password.
Please enter the correct Account
ID & password & try again
