  What exactly is your service ?
  Way2Talk allows you to make international long distance calls at rates that are up to 80% lower than standard phone rates to the same destination. By using your computer, with a sound card, speakers and a microphone, or headset, you can place your calls online to take advantage of our low rates.

You will have to purchase our pre-paid cards to Register & Recharge your account.

Much like a calling card. Your calls are automatically deducted from your balance at our best possible rates. You can even see what is happening in real-time on your dialer window.


 

Way2Talk offers you the freedom to call telephone numbers to and within the following countries : (Mobile calls can only be made to USA, Canada, Hong Kong & Singapore) Calls that charge special, extra user fees are currently not available.
  Can I use Sify Way2Talk service with any ISP connection ?
  Yes, but sound quality on the Way2Talk service is function of network conditions and international bandwidth provisioned by your Internet service provider. For best possible results we recommend you use Sifygold dial-up or Sify Home Broadband services.

Activation fee is charged for every Registration & Renewal that is undertaken. Currently, the Activation fee that is charged is Rs 5 per Registration & Renewal
  How much do the Products cost and what do I get for my money ?
 
Sify Way2Talk pre-paid cards are available in denominations of Rs 100 (valid for 30 days), Rs 250 (valid for 60 days) & Rs 500 (valid for 90 days) These are inclusive of Rs 5 Activation fee per card (applicable both for Online & Offline purchases).

  What you get depends entirely on where you call. For example, to call the US, your account will be decremented at one rate, while calling a phone in Singapore; your account will be charged at a different rate. This all depends on actual costs to make these calls.
  Can I call mobile phones ?
 
Currently, you can make calls to Mobile Phones in : USA, Canada, Hong Kong & Singapore only

  Can I Recharge / Renew my account ? If yes, How ?
 
Yes, Sify Way2Talk provides you with the facility of Recharging your account in case your account balance is getting exhausted. This way you can maintain one single account and keep topping up the account with one of the options available (Rs 100 / 250 / 500).

To Recharge your Way2Talk account, first purchase a Sify Way2Talk pre-paid card (available online on www.sifymall.com or at any of our authorised retail outlets).

Go to www.way2talk.com, click on the MyAccount link & login with your current Way2Talk UserID & PIN number. After login, you will shown a menu of options in the MyAccount module, here choose "Recharge My Account" link. You will be prompted to enter your new Activation code / password (available at the back of the pre-paid card underneath the scratch foil OR if you have purchased your pre-paid card online, your new Activation code / password would have been E-mailed to you).

On successful authorisation of the Activation code / password, your Amount balance would be topped-up (current amount balance (if within expiry date) plus the product value of the Recharge card) & your expiry date reset (to current date plus validity period of the Recharge card)


  What happens if I still have some amount left in my account when it expires ?
 
Way2Talk pre-paid cards come with a set validity period. For example, a Rs 100 pre-paid card is valid for 30 days from the date of activation, Rs 250 cards are valid for 60 days & Rs 500 cards are valid for 90 days from the date of Activation.

Now, if you have an amount balance in your account when the account expires, the amount balance would lapse.

However, if you Recharge your account prior to the expiry of the pack, then any amount balance in your account would be carried forward.


  Why am I getting a lower amount balance than what I have paid for (when I register / Recharge the account) ?
 
Sify Way2Talk pre-paid cards have an Activation fee of Rs 5 which is applicable for all Registrations & Recharges. Thus, when you Register a Rs 250 card, you will get a total Talk time value of Rs 245 (similarly you will get Rs 495 worth of Talk time with the Rs 500 card & Rs 95 Talk time with the Rs 100 card)

  I am existing user of Sifygold ISP / I Way Cybercafe / Sify Mail. Can I use the same Username for Way2Talk ?
 
Yes, if you are an existing user of Sifygold ISP service OR Sify I Way cybercafe user or SIfy Mail user, you can choose to retain the same username for the Way2Talk service. to do so, please click on the Existing user link while registering & provide your existing Username & password for authentication
